Now that they've updated the engrams to give you at least the level of engram you picked up, it's easier to level the higher rated armor items. Really hoping they add another raid soon.

They gave me Legendary leg armor, a scout, and a sniper for going through the raid.

I really got frustrated when I bought two exotic items from the weekend vender. I bought an Exotic Pulse riffle, and an Exotic Engram for a helmet. The helmet took nearly all of my motes of light, I'm a 27 hunter, then when I turned in my Engram to see what my helmet would be I got an exotic helmet for another class. So, all of the gathering of light from the very start of the game was cashed in for a piece of gear I couldn't use. I game has potential but it has a lot of pointless in it.

The Exotic Engrams from him are too risky for me to get. I bought the exotic helmet that guy had a week or two ago. The one he has available this week may not look the best (I think it looks awesome), but the perks you get with it seem awesome. I typically use my Mote of Light on The Speaker for new class items.

haven't done the raid yet but would like to. Recently purchased all the legendary crucible gear. Don't have any exotics yet but pretty much everything except my special weapon is legendary.

I am very excited about the games coming out for X1.

Honest question, what's out for PS4 that makes you think they have the edge (or are you talking about sales/hardware?)

You have Sunset Overdrive that just came out that's getting amazing reviews, Halo MCC next week, Forza Horizon 2 is a great game

but those are games I'm personally excited for

2015 has big games coming out as well, but that's a ways from now obviously

I like the hardware (after a severe bias for MS controllers in the last two generations). The processing power has been beaten to death, though that's not a major factor for me.

Sunset is interesting, though I'm curious if it will have lasting power or if it is getting hype for being unusual and fresh. Would people still play it if they finally released GTA Heist mode on next gen consoles?

Halo MCC is a very fun repackaging of old content. It doesn't do much to change the feeling that we're still stuck in a limbo between consoles instead of us 360 owners being left in the dust. Forza was one of the weak launch titles. The new one may be better but that still feels like about the same situation to me.
2015 has big games coming out as well, but that's a ways from now obviously

From everything I have seen, that will be the first year with any compelling reason to consider upgrading to either console.

Horizon 2 is a lot better than Forza 5 (as I own both)

I do agree PS4 has the better hardware (really no debate), but a lot of multi games are keeping the resolution and framerate the same on both consoles which is negating some of that hardware

As much as I sound like it, I'm not really that much of a Xbox fanboy, it's just they have all the games I'm excited for, all that other stuff I really don't care about, but I can understand why people would rather have a PS4

I still thoroughly enjoy Destiny.

I made two new characters a couple of weeks ago, one a hunter, and the other a warlock. With the Hunter, as soon as it hit 20, I was able to switch my armor over from my lvl 29 Hunter. Took a while longer to level the warlock up, but he's now up to 27. Once you get three characters up above 25, you can do the Weekly Heroic, Nightfall, and Raid up to three times a week. I usually just hit the Nightfall and Weekly Heroic, unless I have a big group of friends on, then we attempt the raid.

I think I'm up to 55 strange coin and 47 motes of light or something like that now.


Anyone else picking up GTA when it comes out in about a week? I'm really excited about playing that on Xbox One.
