The Wit and Wisdom of Annie Apple

I like, and have been a follower of hers before this thread started, Annie and I know she kids around online - but seriously? Why Annie? Whatever I guess..
Annie can get away with this because it's not malicious, it's comical. And let's face it, what demographic primarily runs the NCAA? If it was run by 20 year old Brazilian Swimsuit models, that's who she would have mentioned.

NCAA upper leadership is not nearly as monolithic as Annie or posters here might surmise: look at guys like Bob Williams, Bernard Franklin, Troy Arthur, Donald Remy, Curtis Hollomon, these are high-level administrators for the organization (also names like Michael Drake and Horace Mitchell on the Board of Directors), not to mention any women in key positions. The NCAA also has a robust Leadership Development program specifically targeting women and minorities for executive advancement. Won't these folks all feel left out when it's time for hugs?

Shut your mouth. If Annie wants to hug only old white males, she has every right to do so.

(Yeah, I'm an old white male ...)
