Yeah mine too, which is going to make it interesting going forward. I imagine next season will mostly be about the Whisperers, but there’s also the supposed 3 movies Rick will be in, presumably in parallel to the show, although with the big time jump they have a lot of leeway to backtrack, assuming the first movie will start with him on the heli. I hope they don’t confuse and fuck everything up, but given the shows history...I am not counting on it.

An ok ending, but, as usual, there were several things to gripe about. How is it that some walkers freeze and some don’t? How did a river freeze overnight? Rivers don’t freeze in the south. How was it spring time for the whisperers or did they head south for the winter? Why was only one chimney unusable?

To one of those, the dialogue between Alpha and Beta indicated they were away. The rest...I got nothing.

Definitely some interest moving forward, but mostly to see what Negan is going to do and the Whisperers are still going to be interesting. I am guessing that the voice was the Commonwealth as well.

Anyone else still watching? I'll be honest since Angela Kang took over it's been really good. I had very little faith in a post Rick TWD but I am pleasantly surprised. Recent episodes have been some of the highest rated episodes on Rotten Tomatoes. Anyways if you quit watching after Seasons 7/8 I don't blame you but 9/10 are really good and with all that's going on I imagine there will be plenty of time for people to binge watch.

Well shit is actually happening, and not in a spot monkey way. Of course they killed half their audience with the disastrous Savior/garbage people story, and it’s still too much of a sex drama. But at least the Whisperer war has been decent.

I think I made it through the first half of the season that Rick left. I think I was in the middle of my GoT rewatch marathon when they picked back up last spring and gave it up cold turkey. Can't say I really have a desire to jump back in now. Feels like half the cast turned over since the beginning of last season. Too many shows and not enough time to watch at this point.

Rick is the only major character that has left since going back to last season. I won't spoil anything but another major character is leaving very soon as well. They've done a good job at developing other characters though during that time and the time jumps they've implemented have certainly helped.

The Whisperer angle definitely helped make the story line more interesting again.
But I was watching the last episode, thinking I was getting tired of Alpha's annoyingly soft and slow speech patterns, and then, slash! She's taken out by the same manner which Negin survived, which pissed me off big time when they had him survive his throat slashing.
