Sorry Vito, but this is a very open forum for discussion. Just because someone disagrees with your opinion on the QB situation does not mean board policy is flawed or the posters are as arrogant as you seem to think. However, we do not put up with any form of bashing. That goes for players, coaches, or the program in general. If bashing is your idea of discussion or "being honest", you have the wrong board.
 
criticism is not bashing. this is a forum. I have not personally attacked anyone. I am speaking based on my opinion of the game, Mr. Administrator. You do not seem to have the same criticism for the snide remarks of these others. My comments were made to support your idea of what this board should be. If this is a board to worship teh ground of ohio state football with no open opinion than I'm sorry but a forum is not the mode of discussion. Take the time to look at my comment that you quoted. Tell me if it said anything but hey let's have a forum without bashing the people who make the comments. It seems as if your crticism is pointed in the wrong direction. go back to some of the comments made in response to the minority opinion i hold. People are making comments about troy smith's booster issues, making comments about joe messageboard, and making other snide comments that go outside of the debate brought up. I would appreciate it if you would tke the time to think about my comments begfore righting a reaction to them.

Lighten up Francis. It was a comment to the overall climate of this board. You have not crossed the line you are carefully toeing, but you have made enough comments to show it is possible. As I said, and will reiterate, if your idea of discussion is bashing the team or coaches, you have the wrong board. There is a way to discuss without bashing...make sure you follow it. Maybe you should think a little more before you decide to start criticizing a place many of us work very hard to maintain. Also, you are correct...this is a forum...but this is a privately owned forum which means you follow the rules as presented.

Any other issues with board policy, feel free to PM me.

EDIT: I moved this mess to the Open Discussion forum...its like a broken record.

I believe vito23 is the guy who, last night, wrote that if JT were Cooper, we'd be calling for his head, then went on to say that JT is a great coach but not perfect. Perfect is good, I suppose, but just sounded like wishin' for bitchin' to me.

It is my opinion that you can get away with anything on this board that:

1. Is supported by facts or involves a process of rational subjective thinking.
2. Doesn't personally attack a player, coach or recruit.
3. Is not part of a personal agenda or long pattern of harping on the same topic without new information (see NDChief and SOS).

Everyone is in the minority sometimes, but if you find yourself outnumbered on nearly every topic...look no further than the common denominator.
