Nebraska: "The routine is the exact same as it was the first game of my freshman year. The exact same warmup songs at the same time in every game. Even the tunnel walk has gotten stale after being there for a couple seasons. I believe the university needs to try some new rituals, get some new traditions. At a place that covets tradition, as much as any fan base in the country, a change is needed."
Georgia Tech: "I want to be able to flip over to other football games while watching my team. I don't want to miss the entire LSU-Alabama game because my team is playing at the same time."
Forget my above dropkick. I want to throw this guy in front of a bus. You can bet you sweet ass that if tOSU is on tv I am not switching over to see LSU-Bama. I don't give a rat's ass what those teams are doing just as the $EC $EC $EC fans don't care what the Buckeyes are doing during their team's game.
This was the coolest feature of Lucas Oil: no pillars holding the upper decks..The last two years I've had the misfortune of sitting in B- deck for some of the games I've attended. Not my choice, just where I fit in the university's pecking order. It's amazing how much of a football game can be played in front of a B-deck pillar. There were times when I could begin to understand why people would leave early. Not to mention how many seats there are in the stadium where you can't read the scoreboard(s). Funny, something created to expand the "being there" experience, becomes something else you miss out on because you have a crappy seat.
Speaking of crappy seats, say what you will about the big outhouse, there isn't a seat in the place behind a pillar or where you can't see the antiquated scoreboard. 'course as some will point out, there aren't any seats in the place to begin with, but hey...
Oh, and with all the up to date tech at Ohio Stadium - and I suppose other venues such as Georgia Tech - why is it so impossible to post up to date scores so that the those who like to follow other games as well as the one their at can keep up with what is happening elsewhere? Too busy running ads for Bill Swad I guess. If you want the type of fan who is interested in more than just your team and your game to stay, or to chose being in the stadium over watching at home, do something to keep him/her informed about other games.
Well, those were Nebraska and GATech fans, respectively. As I read this statement I want to dropkick him...unless he is talking about the same ol [Mark May] like Seven Nation Army, Kernkraft 400, and too many other BS chants. Hang on Sloopy is the only damn song that should be played and it should be played by TBDBITL.

Did you just tell me to go soak my head?
in my 2 years at Florida I entered the 'student lottery' where you give the $130 and if you are selected you get a season ticket. If not you get a refund. The lottery is partly random partly based on seniority. As a grad student I was guaranteed a spot. They have a small student section behind the visitor sideline and the rest are in the end zones and corners. I went to every game but one each year and had no problem giving a ticket to a friend. No pillars but in 13 home games I sat on the sideline once. Every other time I was in the back rows of the corners. Worse seats than the visitor team fans had. I went for the atmosphere. If I wanted to actually see the games I would have stayed home. I couldn't see shit, had to miss chunks of the game to piss and was sober by hAlf time. This was the coolest feature of Lucas Oil: no pillars holding the upper decks..
