Annoy??? I cant stand to see or hear her.
That and her mind works like a pachinko machine.

"You can go, I just ate Chinese Food"

Best line of the night Bobby Baccala? That was good, but what about Pauli and his I'm getting flabby arms speech. Classic stuff.

And definitely Vito is first in line for a bullet. He was the one really driving that wedge last night. He potentially has 3 strikes coming against him.

  • His budding man love thing for Meadow's boyfriend (or the dewey-eyes with Phil across the bridge) -- the truth behind either of those things could get him stiffed in the men and only real men universe of the crime families
  • That whole business with the cash, dumbest move, laying it on heavy with Carmela about how it would be bad timing to move the money that quickly. Meant little to her, but its they type of info she'll innocently convey to Tony - to whom it will mean much more.
  • As stated earlier by 44820 - the whole positioning and pressuring act is going to come back and bite him in the ass.

I forgot about Paulie's rambling which was classic.......it gave Tony a heart attack.....

"You can go, I just ate Chinese Food"

I know, my wife and I just looked at eachother after that comment and said WTF.

And definitely Vito is first in line for a bullet.

Yep, I agree, but not to far behind him is Paulie in my opinion....

Does anyone else sense that maybe Carmela may become a little more vocal in Tony's business affairs after this situation?

Yes, did you notice when they ran the preview for next week, you heard Carmella's voice say "There is somebody you need to watch out for". Or something to that effect anyway. I think she is gonna start pickin up bits of info.

I dont know about that honestly. Paulie has always had that stubborn "fuck everybody but me" attitude. He always seems to eventually come to terms with it. Course who knows, everything is pretty much no holds barred this season.

I think she is going to keep an eye on everyone while Tony recovers...

I know he usually gets it together, but how many times is he going to walk that line before he catches a bullet?

Ditto. Was a really good episode. My favorite scene was where Tony was at the "family reuinion", getting ready to walk in, and he hears the girls voice calling for him. That was very well done.

They handled the whole symbolism of needing to get rid of earthly baggage at the time of moving on pretty well.

"My whole life is in that briefcase" ... "but this one isn't mine"

That walk up to the Family Reunion with the Italian folk music playing in the background - nice touch.

So it makes me wonder what (if any) were the meanings of the name of his mistaken alter-ego doppelganger in his visions from a coma. The beacon was pretty welllinked to the Asian doctor giving him the eye response test in the hospital. What if any is the reason why I looked at the old female Salesperson in last weeks episode and pondered if she looked like a cross between his therapist and Carmella with a dash of dark hair in place of Carmella's blonde locks?

Tony will definitely hate the movie thing.

I hope Paulie stays around, just because he's a riot to watch, but he and Vito should both stop buying green bananas.

I think Kevin Finnerty will be his alias when he goes into the Witness Protection Program. I think he will lose it when he comes to and start whacking people for being selfish inconsiderate pricks (Chris with his fucking movie idea while Tony is drooling down his face, Paulie's shit, Vito's fat fucking homo ass, etc) He will either go into a rage and get sloppy or he will want to move his family after this ordeal is over. I think he rolls Junior under the bus and testifies against Johnny Sack. They have to have something on him after all those rats started spilling their guts.

I don't know, now that I just typed that, it sounds pretty far-fetched............who in the hell knows???

Man it is start to wind up. Paulie is loosing his mind. Vito is a dead man.

I told you that Tony is going to find Jesus. Man I should write these things.

Did you catch the exit song?

Pink Floyd - Meddle One of these days I am going to cut you into little pieces. Is that cryptic foreshadowing or what?

I definitely think Tony will have a spiritual reawakening, but I doubt he will become a bible thumper-he actually cared about the scientist played by Hal Holbrook-good to see him working,BTW.
Paulie is going to get his ass beat bad-but not whacked-when Tony is completely healthy,IMO.

My take on the episode:

1. Johnny Sack: His relationship with Tony has always been up and down and this latest thing with the garbage routes didn't help, I thought he told Phil that Tony could keep the W-2 and position for just 2 years, but I believe Phil told Tony 10 years at the end of the episode?

2. Carmela Soprano: It was great to see her get involved with the business by telling Tony their was probably more money that they didn't get from Vito and to keep an eye on him.

3. Christopher Moltisanti: So far he has been pretty quiet....

4. Phil Leotardo: Obviously, trying to take advantage of Tony still recovering.....I look for him and Tony to really get into it soon...

5. Bobby Bacala: How hard up for money is Bobby? He is doing some crazy things.....

6. Paulie Walnuts: Talk about this episode and how can you not mention Paulie and the news his mother is not his real mother....unbelievable.

7. Vito Spatafore: Still my vote for first to get clipped.

8. Tony Soprano: Tony finally is able to talk but is still real weak......I like the whole born again christian idea, but if you saw the previews for next episode, well...I have a hard time believing that is going to happen....he is who he is......I think next episode we see the old Tony real quick. I did see that he went soft on the medic and Phil late in the episode.....I don't expect that to continue long.....

Tony had to give up the skim in order to get the extra years of the W-2 and getting 12% instead of 5% on the sale. I'm thinking that the annual skim would be at least equal to the consulting salary, so it's a bit of compromise on both sides. More money upfront for Tony, more skim for Sac.
