The Sopranos (Bada Bing)

I think Chase is getting what he wanted, people coming up with their own theories on the ending. He left it up to interpretation, I myself was convinced he was dead a few days ago, now, I am not sure. I hated the ending on Monday morning and today I love it. Well done David Chase, well done.

Yeah, as it's set in the finale did actually accomplish what Chase set out to do, it provokes discussion and leaves people to discuss what "might" have happened. Did the guy in the members only jacket whack Tony? Did they just have dinner? Did life go on? Did Tony die?

One thing needed to happen, and that was Phil needed to die, that happened.

People say the scene wasn't that exciting but most of the Sopranos series has been like that.

I still can't say I am happy with the ending, but I realize it's a tough rode to ride out of. After 86 episodes they had made Tony out to be almost a hero type figure, but if you look at his track record he's a horrible human being. But if you, as a viewer, had actually seen him die it would have looked like a total cop-out.

Either way, I will miss this show.

Just got back from vacation and watched the finale.

Loved it. But I love ambiguous endings - always have.

I feel bad for the folks who are so very upset not just because they didn't like the finale, but because they lack the imagination to have appreciated 50% of the entire series.

Count me as one who loved the ending. My only problem with the episode was that it should have been two hours. They tried to cram too much stuff in one hour.

Agreed, there were scenes like when he went to see Janice where I would have thought they could have been longer and it felt rushed.

'Sopranos' creator defends famous finale

NEW YORK (AP) -- Just when we had made our peace with "The Sopranos" finale and moved on with our lives, David Chase has stirred things up again.

Breaking his silence months after the HBO mob drama ended its run, he is offering a belated explanation for that blackout at the restaurant. He strongly suggests that, no, Tony Soprano didn't get whacked moments later as he munched onion rings with his family at Holsten's. And mostly Chase wonders why so many viewers got so worked up over the series' non-finish.

woke up this morning, turned on the tv, and saw that the sopranos was on HBO. Was the first episode of season 3 where the feds were trying to bug his house. I realized then how bad I missed this show. So I immediately ordered season 1, 2, and 3 on dvd. now I cant wait for them to get here

Manager said he was given a tip that there would be a "Sopranos" movie

D'Urso: I'll wait to renovate my strip club in case tip pans out

The club, Satin Dolls, already auctioned off its stripper polls

LODI, New Jersey (AP) -- Hold the poles! Is a Sopranos movie in the works?

The managers of the real strip club that became Bada Bing claims he tipped off about a Sopranos movie.

The real-life manager of the strip club that fronted for the Bada Bing on HBO's "The Sopranos" thinks there might be. Satin Dolls manager Nick D'Urso says he's holding off on renovations to the strip club in Lodi, N.J., after getting a tip that a movie would be made. He wouldn't name the tipster.

An HBO spokeswoman says there's no truth to the rumor that plans are in the works for a film about Tony Soprano and his mob crew.

As first reported in The Record of Bergen County, D'Urso says he'll wait until after the summer to renovate in case the tip pans out.

Satin Dolls has already auctioned off its bronze-colored stripper poles and replaced them
