The Sopranos (Bada Bing)

Is anyone else concerned that Johnny Sack might be setting Tony up?

I mean, clearly this guy is probably willing to do anything to be with his family at this point. Who else thinks he might have been wearing a wire when he asked Tony for his favor?

And he might have had the wire either knowingly or unknowingly. They could have put one inside the tux/shoes they brought for him to wear.

That is what I have been saying. He had a problem with the shoes. If he had a wire I dont think Johnny knew it. He didnt say anything too incriminating that would provoke Tony to say something he shouldn't. He wasnt baiting him, but Tony will never believe it and this will be the final straw between these 2 families. Serves Tony right. He knows not to talk to a guy in prison, especially one that broke down and cried like a school girl. He will be thinking of how weak he is now and start wondering if he is working with the Feds.

My favorite line from tonight's episode had to be this one, with Rosalie Aprile talking to Carmela about Vito:

"Imagine laying next to a guy for 15 years, and then finding out he plays for the pink team!"

Not seeing the other seasons isnt going to keep you from following along these episodes, but you do catch alot of things here and there that refer back to past seasons. Even the whole thing with Junior. That is basically the second time there has been that type of situation with Tony and Junior

Great episode though, well done. Cant wait for next week. Looks like Chris is gonna go out and try the movie thing again maybe? Hasnt he learned by now.........it doesnt mix, and just causes problems.

So far this season is meeting my expectations and even surpassing them. I remember I was a little concerned that the show was slipping with a somewhat subpar season 4, but then season five kicked ass and this is just...wow. Great stuff.

Anybody else think Meadow is becoming super-hot?

My favorite line from tonight's episode

How can you pick a favorite line from an episode with so many gay jokes and double entendres ("Vito likes to come from behind", "My guys are going to be looking for head").

So far not seeing the first 5 seasons hasn't really affected my understanding of the show.

Glad you find this to be true, but I have to say I have never seen a series where the character development over an extended period was so rich, consistent, and realistic as Sopranos.

The writers create these wonderful scenarios and then you could almost write the script yourself because you know how these guys think, and to a large extent you know why they think that way because you know what they have been through.

And then there's the titties.
