Well, there ya go! . There are some here that get butt-hurt at his truthful take of the headlines.
I love sharp, scathing political satire and am really sad that we are losing Colbert.

I despise whiny, apologetic blather that involves as much partisan posturing as the people he intends to mock.

Stewart has been unwatchable for years, largely due to the Obama administration.

Surely there is humor in making light of the racist nutjobs of our society. But, to each his own. I like him better than Colbert.

Naturally, which is a far cry from your humorous synopsis of his shtick as the a truthful depiction of the headlines.

Colbert only bends over backwards to defend the honor of his farcical heroes. Jon approaches truly alarming levels of apologetics to defend the president during undefendable gaffes.

I enjoy plenty of comedy on both sides of the aisle. This second term has seen Jon transform from a sharp but far left leaning comedian into a talking head caricature without the poise.

The diminished roles for John Oliver and John Hodgman were also blows in my book. Aasif is excellent but Jason Jones is pretty mediocre.
