Again, and I'm not sure why you keep doing this, you're ignoring some pretty pertinent facts here like Clemson skullfucking a Top 10 Miami team, Clemson having played three more games with two more wins (no I won't count Citadel), and the significant injuries they're dealing with for several weeks. I don't see what criteria you feel the committee is picking and choosing here.

Bama - won all their games, but only scored 38 on shitty Missouri and let shitty Mississippi put up 48 in a game that was much closer than the final score says. Any doubt in their minds? Nope...and there shouldn't be. Eye test.
ND - won all their games, biggest win of the season.....but it doesn't really count, bc poor wittle Clemson didn't have some starters. Not eye test.
Clemson - lost a game. Struggled with BC. But the loss doesn't count and they have studs. Garbage schedule? Who cares. Eye test.
Ohio State - won all their games. Offense is good enough to hang with anybody, defense is bad enough to let anybody hang. Star studded classes.....but who cares? They don't win their games by 83 points.

Give me consistency, then I'll let you rank them 4th. The same criteria that keeps us at 4 should have Clemson at 1.....subjective bullshit.

Where's the inconsistency? Please point it out to me. Bama's played two teams comparable to Ohio State's best win, housed one of them by 4TDs and comfortably beat the other. They've also played twice as many games as Ohio State has. You bring up Mizzou but at least they've won a couple of games unlike Penn State. The only sticking point against them is they had a lone bad game against Ole Miss. The resumes aren't even close to being equal and I'm not sure why you keep pretending that they are.

Domers have won all of their games, played twice as many games as OSU, and currently own a better win than the Buckeyes do at the moment. Not sure what the problem is here.

Clemson is really the only sticking point here and again, there's arguments for and against their ranking. Once again, they housed a Top 10 Miami team when fully healthy, have played (and won) more games than OSU, looked like shit against Syracuse and BC while dealing with significant injuries, and lost in 2 OT to the current #2. Now you'd have to ask if having two more wins outweighs the loss they have hanging around their neck. Personally I don't think so but it's not some grave miscarriage of justice that committee disagrees. It's not like in 2018 where the committee ranked 2 loss Georgia who didn't even win their own conference ahead of 1-loss Conference Champion Ohio State or in 2019 when OSU dropped because of single bad half despite still winning by double digits.

The CFP panelists are supposed to be watching the games as should realize this. Next question.

Yea gotta laugh anytime someone seriously tries to prop up Miami. The only reason They are top 10 is because they play absolutely no one worth a shit besides Clemson. Who they predictably got destroyed by.

Their last 3 games they survived each by 5 or less against mediocre NC State and bad Virginia and Virginia Tech teams.

They are basically just the “best” of the pile of shit that comes after Clemson and ND. Which is saying about nothing

I agree. But you can say basically the same thing about the B1G. It's OSU, IU, NW and maybe Wisc and then a pile of shit.

I think the combo of Clemson, ND, and Miami stacks up quite favorably with the best 3 that the B1G has put on the field this fall. Anyone arguing SOS this year needs to take a hard look and OSU's schedule so far and what they have left. The CFP committee has a difficult job every year. This year, trying to separate these teams with the schedules being so unbalanced is a crap shoot. Don't envy their position, especially if you have a handful of 1 loss teams sitting at 3 or 4-6 and have an undefeated BYU and Cincy (who have played 10+ games each) sitting on the outside looking in.

Don't know if Auburn has the horses to knock off Bama but it sure would be fun to see.

While I agree that the committee has a difficult job this year, but when in doubt, they should just follow the AP and not switch teams around to show they are "relevant." At least the AP is a canvass of a much larger body of opinions so a few outliers have less of an effect.

I don’t think anyone plays a particularly high above all tough schedule this year.

Nobody is without flaw either

Bama struggled with a bad Ole Miss team

Notre Dame survives a bad Louisville team

Clemson had to comeback against Boston College.

People seem to want to ignore that though.
