It’s hard to understand the voters but I truly believe that LSU gets the top spot if both win out. OSU gets the nod after beating Penn State but beating scUM and Minny/Wiscy(2x) isn’t going to keep them there over LSU beating aTm and UGA.

CFP is showing their opinion changes based on week to week performance

I think it depends a lot on how they win. They beat Auburn by 3 and let a few weak teams score a bunch on them which is why I think the committee looks at us as #1. If OSU dominates and LSU gets in a shootout with Aggies and sweats it out against UGA I don't know if that will move the needle.

This is the best guess with information we have to date. I feel that LSU was dropped more so than OSU was promoted.

This year’s committee is all about the ‘eye-test’. If the Tigers want to climb back to #1, they better show a pulse on defense against A&M.

I am kind in favor of a no rematch rule for CFP. As in you can't have two teams in that have already played each other in conference. I wouldn't apply it to OOC since that would discourage OOC scheduling against top tier teams. But hell I don't want to see another rematch of LSU/UGA or LSU/Bama in the CFB even if one of they might be better than the best Pac12 or B12 team. I can live with 2 teams from the same conference if they haven't played yet.
