Granted, his show is basically an SEC show. I don't think he "blows the SEC" as you claim. He's actually pretty level headed, and his co host that's usually on from LSU is pretty unbiased too. Whenever they talk about the other teams around the nation, they typically have some pretty good insight on them. Except when they talk about someone they don't like, like Harbaugh. :lol:

When I moved to Alabama in 2008 it was an hour commute home to listen to this guy. He had just moved to XM radio, but it was even more of an SEC show than it is now. Hard to imagine I know.

It seemed like they had a big inferiority complex. The Cleveland the Columbus stations didn't keep comparing us to them. Down here, they justified their superiority over us over and over. Mostly the callers, but Paul played to the crowd and acted like an idiot plenty also.

Lest we forget. Finebaum isn't really a douche, but he definitely yuks it up for the douches that abound down there.

I actually admire the man and his level of patience. He puts up with more crap than a Kindergarten teacher.
He's actually an excellent interviewer and isn't afraid to push coaches and players a little bit.

I just hate the callers who make two very quick points and say "I'll just hang up and listen to your thoughts"

"Hey Paul, How you doing today (just fine). Well I just wanted to call in and say I think you're reading LSU all wrong, they got the defense and the fire to go all the way this year and the quarterback play will be better! Thanks and I'll listen to your thoughts..."
