The Ohio State University Marching Band (TBDBITL)

I have never, ever.... EVER heard the cheaters' band play on the field in Ohio Stadium. EVER!! And I've been to a bunch of games. 1986, 1988, 1990, 1992, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2012, 2014, and 2022. The boos drown out the band.

Not only can you hear the band pretty clearly, but you can also hear the fans sing "O - H - I - O" during Hang On Sloopy, and you can hear the fans sing after Script Ohio.

1. Maybe they have a microphone on the field.
2. Maybe the cheaters' fans just suck.
3. Maybe they don't suck and they want to hear a good band play sometimes.

So, Youtube brought me to a rabbithole where I listen to some British blokes talk about their time in the US. It's not great. Not terrible. But I guess they were convinced to go see a college football game. Makes sense. They went to Oklahoma at Tennessee. That starts around 15:55 of that video. At 16:18 some nerd calls Tennessee's band "The Best Damn Band in the Land." Where did they get that?
I Googled "The Best Damn Band in the Land" and all it comes up with is Ohio State. I even Googled "The Best Damn Band in the Land Tennessee" and Google just laughed at me.
Anyway, I feel vindicated for pointing out when other people are wrong.
