The pitching has got to be addressed in a serious way if Haire is going to want to last.
The depth is non existent and our weekend guys aren't particularly very good either

Man, I think that is the burden of pretty much every cold weather program. They just can't attract enough pitching talent and depth to have a solid rotation plus a couple of stud relievers.

Oh yea that is definitely true.
It looks like he can get the bats, if he could manage to figure out a way to even get just close to average pitching it would go a long way in the B1G (obviously competing with the west coast programs is still going to be a uphill climb). This current group is a far way away from even being close to average.

Game 1 against Purdue is already a dud. Purdue has managed to score 6 runs after recording 2 outs in the 2nd inning. Not being able to get that 3rd out and giving up that many runs is just brutal.
