Leadoff double after 6 pitches for Lucas Walker down the left field line. First hit off Shaw. Walker is a thorn in our sides for sure.
2nd time through the lineup and Shaw is taking it on the chin. Couple base hits after that double and it's 8-7 with runners still on 1 out. We need a rally killer quick.

Luke Carrell in for the Bucks with runners on the corner, NO outs. Oops. Sweeping breaking balls for Carrell which is in contrast to the guys before him so far. Got a force out to third, held the runner so still on the corners and 1 out. Fucking nubber by Tobias squeaks the run in but gets the 2nd out. Runner on 2nd base. Geesh that was the weakest RBI you'll see from a big hitter like Tobias. Huge double to left by Cromwick gives the Devils the lead back 9-8. What a game this is!

I would estimate that ASU would be somewhere near the Top 10 in batting this year when it's all said and done so I'm really encouraged by the Buckeyes hanging in there with them for 7 innings in a slugfest. I really like the bullpen of Shaw and Carrell so far, lefties off the bench, so if we get some good starting pitching we should have a fun season. Not LSU fun, but still fun. LOL

Jamo leads off with an infield single! Speed kills. Here we go again. Bunt and run fouled off but the whole place screamed. Haha. Jamo had it stolen but Bussey flied out to Center. 1 out. New pitcher coming in. Jamo picked off in a run down. Brutal. Bottom 8 still down 1

You know I'm a little disgusted by the fat Tennessee fan behind the plat right in the camera view. WTF dude?

Graveline with a lead off walk in top 9. Need 1 or more runs this inning. Pettorini chases a ball for strike 3. 1 Down.

Edit: Stephens great at bat and gets a bloop single over short to move Graveline to 2nd. Eck up with 1 down and hits a missle to second and Graveline picked off second but there's a review on the 2nd out.

Damn what a game. Bucks drop the opener 9-8 but it was definitely a battle and vs ASU's ace who didnt factor in the win. I'll take it. Now move forward.

That was fun being a play by play guy for a night. Hope it wasn't too much or annoying. Got honey do lists tomorrow so I might church on at some point. I'll be in attendance, Buckeye side left field, general admittance on my cripple scooter of anyone else attends or watches on the tube.

I'll try to get pics and maybe a short video or two if I can figure out this interwebs thing. Go Bucks!!
