Last time I checked I wasn't comparing conferences. You want to deal with the comment I actually made? Asking how you did this weekend against a team that didn't even have 10 wins until they met you?

Scum -They sucked! Everyone thought it would be a great year (as did I ) and yeah they went toe to toe and had some good wins (UCONN and BC) but then they had some crazy losses and lost a ton of close games some after leading all but say the final 2 minutes of the game (twice to Syracuse,yeah yeah 27!LOL!) SIGH!

Sorry for the rants, the Mother -In- Law's stroke has made my normally AWESOME wife a total bitch lately! Which has made my life a living hell!

SORRY GUYS!!!! EXAMPLE! Get home from work, feed kids, go thru homework, do 3 loads of laundry, clean up around house, boys to bed (wife at hospital) and then get my ass REAMED for putting a pair of her socks in the wrong drawer! KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT! Another sigh...


M-I-L is doing better but it looks like a nursing home for the near future! YET ANOTHER LONG SIGH..........................

RESULT, I HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT OF A BITCH AS WELL :(

I will say this as to being called a "guest" here as some refer to me! I understand that I will always been an "outsider" here and always will be. But as to being a "guest" well I have earned the right to be here even if as an "outsider" we dont always see eye to eye. As for the raants above, yeah I deserved some crap for them.....

I was at that game, and I wouldn't call it an "ass kicking" I'd call it winning a close one on a last second shot.

ND ended up ranked after that game, if memory serves. It was the first game of the year, so the ranking of OSU was based on the preceeding year's final four visit and Michael Redd/Scoonie Penn's return. I don't think they were 2, thought they may have been. I thought they were 4. In any case, ND did win, so it hardly matters.

I'm just saying "ass kicking" was a bit strong. Much like a posse has seven members, an ass kicking must be, at a minimum, 15 points.

Chief you have been here longer than at least 90% of the current members...at times, you are annoying, argumentative, petty, and you can't spell worth a shit. However, you have always been there when the site needed something...Magilla Gorilla is a prime example.

You get on my last nerve at times, but you are always welcome here.

21- THANKS, UHH I THINK! LOL! Good analysis, you could be a shrink! But yeah I know as the homeristic views around here sometimes tick me off and sometimes make me laugh.

I can spell just fine but I cant type worth a shit! That is my problem as the brain is on one letter but the fingers still 2 letters behind! LOL!!

Grad, you and my wife are the only 2 human beings that I have ever hear use that "last nerve" phrase. What the heck does that mean? I have never figured the root of that. You must be from Kentucky.

No, I am not talking about the Fuck ND, I know where that one comes from.

I thought that saying was commonplace...I know I have heard it since I was a child.

Low blow on the Kentucky jab...now if you would have said related to BkB or BN27, we would have had a problem...

Can we change the title of this thread to "Oh Yeah, well..."? As in:

"You guys lost to NW!!!"
"Oh yeah, well, we hammered you twice in the 90's"
"Oh yeah, well, you guys still lost to NW"
"Oh yeah, well, you guys were outscored 5,000-3 in two games against USC"
"Oh yeah, well, USC is better than Miami"
"Oh yeah, well, we still won the NC two years ago"
"Oh yeah, well, we won NC's too"
"Oh yeah, well, ours was more recent"
"Oh yeah, well, you guys lost to NW"

We must be bored. I know I am. After all, I just read this thread.
