Considering Tom and Tiger's rounds didn't really overlap all that much, I feel like I saw more of Tom when he was playing than the other guys in the field...and Fred's amount of coverage seemed above par considering the fact that he was playing so close to Tiger.

In all honest, the basic AMOUNT of GOLF coverage Tiger's been getting doesn't seem exceedingly more than usual...it's the tone of it that's changed.

I watched the early day coverage online and didn't really see a lot of coverage on Tom. Once ESPN coverage kicked in though I felt it was non-stop Tiger. You are right though, it wasn't exceedingly more than usual. The problem is that the "usual" is exceedingly too much Tiger. That being said, I understand that:
1. the majority of people watching are casual golf fans and most of those people would be happy watching all 68 of Tiger's shots and his sporadic temper tantrums; and
2. ESPN must air what will bring the most viewers, thus
3. Tiger-fest 2010 at Augusta.

Kim is playing well despite his erratic drives as of late. I think that will have to catch up with him sooner or later. Tiger looks HUGE. Did his rehab facility contain a gym and a fitness plan? Holy shit he's huge. But his drives have been solid and his putting has been okay. His approaches inside 200 sucked tho. I wanna say it was 17 where he drove about 2 football fields and left himself a sandy in and he pussyfooted it up there.

Takes a 3 to 4 month break and is still within two strokes of the lead. Either he's the phenom his fans believe him to be or the field is packed with certified choke artists.

Could we pass a law that requires everyone who screams, "Get in the hole!" to climb into a hole and remain there? Could that law be amended so that anyone who screams, "Get in the hole!" on anything other than a putt or a chip shot climb into a hole beneath a port-o-let?

I think it will come down to Kim and Woods and that Kim will beat him because he is mentally tougher right now.

I don't know about that...

As far as I know, Tiger did keep a fairly normal exercise routine to keep himself in shape over the past few months...but he doesn't look any more ripped today than he has in the past.

Sandy Lyle was the first to crash back to earth, but Freddie looks good so far. I'm thinking Langer and Watson will make the cut...it will be interesting to see if Tom ca shoot a 72 or so today and stay in the conversation for the weekend or not. One thing it does look like though...the Senior Tour can really help with the confidence, as the only winners this year so far are...Couples and Watson.
