If texas can pull it together and win the NCAA tournament in baskettball then they will have pulled the "tiger slam" of the major sports championships winning baseball in '05, football in '06 and then baskettball in '06. if that were to somehow happen....is texas the greatest athletic program of all time?

Here's a better thought for you. If you finally win your basketball championship, you'd join two other schools as the only major D1 programs to win championships in all 3 major sports (Basketball, Football, and Baseball) and not necessarily in the same year.

Name the other two schools.

As for championships on one scholastic year go... my freshman year at OSU the football team finished the season tied with Alabama despite the fact that the Faculty council prevented them from going to the Rose Bowl. That same year the basketball team finished second in the NCAA's. Damn Cincinnati Bearcats.
