Honestly, I was thinking Hartline as head coach (in a very risky move).
If he wants it, he'll be a head coach somewhere.
Looked at USC, and ND wasn't looking too good. Hopefully in the morning...If we somehow sneak into the CFP, we'll likely face Georgia. You'll have to get through them first.
But as long as you're dreaming then cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame tonight. USC needs a loss.
Nah I don't think Hardline or Fickell are the guys imo. Fickell I'd be more inclined to hire simply because he took an OSU team that was a mess and came within a Posey overthrow of beating SCUM at the Outhouse. Even still...eh. Like I said, I'm not sure Day is the guy but I'm not sure who else is out there. Think we under appreciated what Meyer did going 4-0 against Harbaugh. If not Fickell, I'd agree with that personally.
I think he definitely wants to be here but wants more input - you could see him in Day's ear a few times, especially in the 2nd half.
I LOVE me some Brian Hartline, but no more coaches without some head coaching experience, please.Honestly, I was thinking Hartline as head coach (in a very risky move).

Kirby took a minute to get shit really going too.The only thing I'm thinking of is Kirby and Lincoln Riley had no head coaching experience (I think Dabo is a clown, so I don't count him).
But again, we'd be promoting from within and that is not a good idea for a second time.
I think Fickell has improved as HC big time, and Hartline would stay if it was Fickell. If not Fickell, I'd agree with that personally.

Eh. How about no more coordinators. No real temptation to keep calling plays. Maybe they see things as a whole better.I LOVE me some Brian Hartline, but no more coaches without some head coaching experience, please.
