THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

If not Fickell, I'd agree with that personally.

I think he definitely wants to be here but wants more input - you could see him in Day's ear a few times, especially in the 2nd half.
Nah I don't think Hardline or Fickell are the guys imo. Fickell I'd be more inclined to hire simply because he took an OSU team that was a mess and came within a Posey overthrow of beating SCUM at the Outhouse. Even still...eh. Like I said, I'm not sure Day is the guy but I'm not sure who else is out there. Think we under appreciated what Meyer did going 4-0 against Harbaugh.

I LOVE me some Brian Hartline, but no more coaches without some head coaching experience, please.

The only thing I'm thinking of is Kirby and Lincoln Riley had no head coaching experience (I think Dabo is a clown, so I don't count him).

But again, we'd be promoting from within and that is not a good idea for a second time.

From what I gather, Hartline is the most-organized individual on the staff and the one that relates best to recruits. But again, I don't know about promoting from within again (I'd be against it).

I think Fickell has improved as HC big time, and Hartline would stay if it was Fickell.

Fickell was a baby when he coached OSU that one season. I think if he has the tools at his disposal, he can get it done.

Honestly, I was thinking Hartline as head coach (in a very risky move).

If he wants it, he'll be a head coach somewhere.

Ohio State should not be anyone's first head coaching job. It's a pressure cooker, not a training ground. It has to be someone who has shown they can be a head coach.

Urban showed he could coach at Bowling Green and Utah before stepping up to the SEC then Ohio State. He grew into the big time role and was ready for it.

Yeah they planted a flag.. like they owned OSU. Like OK. Disrespect. Also remember dancing on mid-field logos.. Has OSU done that? I don't remember.. but.. damn.. if I were a young player who has lost 2x now to them.. fuel for me.

We really got our asses kicked..another thought…how good was JF here. Could make the same throws stroud could and was a deadly runner in the rpo and scramble drill..not bashing stroud at all. Just noticed today he had all day to throw sometimes but had running lanes to get 6-7 yards a pop..fuck Knowles. Blitzing and playing man when they couldn’t run the ball in the first half was idiotic..man didn’t work and yet we never went zone..not once..the hell was he watching.. execution was terrible on both sides of the ball..Day gotta look in him heart and decide if he’s made to be the coach at THE Ohio State University. Stove is turned on gents. Gonna be a hot 365 I tell ya that. Go Bucks!!
