Herbstreit went on a rant, took at shot at the officiating in the Clemson game, and told Desmond not emphasizing this game is garbage. I'm paraphrasing but there was legitimate disdain shown for Desmond in his comments. It was nice.

I've got Ohio State with a fairly easy win, something like 34 - 16. Talent, home field, weather, and revenge all favor the Buckeyes.

The only concern of mine is that scUM is due for a "lucky" game. Four games this century (2002; 2005; 2013; and 2016) essentially came down to the last play, and the Buckeyes won all four. Four other games were one-score margins of victory (2001; 2006; 2011; and 2012), and the Buckeyes won three of those four. scUM will not have a dominant performance like they did in 2003 and 2021, but they might have just enough dumb luck to keep the game close or perhaps even win it if Ohio State isn't able to keep their composure down the stretch.
