You aren't going to beat them playing a bunch of 3rd and 3, inside a 15 yard box defense. You stop their run game by getting up 14+ points and shredding them through the air.

It's cyclical. Defense was dominant in 00s. Offense was becoming ascendant when the officiating rules and atmosphere of babying QBs nailed it home.
Now it's offense or bust.

at his current pace that would give Stroud a stat line something like
