I was frustrated in the first half with the lack of desire to run inside. Turns out it doesn't really matter what plays you run against this M*ch*g*n team. That's pretty sad for them.
Seven in a row, Nine of the last ten. Can't say I ever could have imagined anything like this ten years ago.
The refs in this game were a joke. I didn't think it could be worse than last week. Some refs think people show up or tune in to see them I guess. It's a shame for Boom, since they took away a historic TD run. I'm sure Boom's just happy for the win though.
I also want to say how disappointed I am in M*ch*g*n. No matter what happened, you could always at least say that while the players hit hard and hated each others' guts, at least it was a clean game. I don't think we can say that any longer. There have been incidents the past (on both sides) but you could blame some of those on a random shithead here and there. I don't think I've seen it quite like this though. The aspect that's most striking to me: M*ch*g*n was pushing, shoving, woofing & hitting long after the whistle most of the game until they gave up trying to win. Usually it's the other way around - if a team's getting beat they give up and get cheap. Instead, they played cheap like it was a strategy and gave it up late like a team would give up trying to throw down field or hurrying to the line. Like I said, it's disappointing. For as much as I like having a layup against these guys at the end of every season, part of me hopes they fire RichRod so they can try to restore a little dignity to this rivalry. I'm always hesitant to say the prestige of the Ohio State-M*ch*g*n game is being damaged, but if anything is going to do it, it's stuff like this more than what happens on the scoreboard that'll do it.
