So it really bothered me when I heard a player for the other team come out and guarantee wins, and Revenge Tours, and shit like that, and I remember those days and my head almost popped off my shoulders. That’s disrespecting the rivalry. And I think - everyone listen real close, this is in our DNA, this will never change: How do you really show respect for a rivalry?

Think about it. Very simple question, complicated answer. How do you show respect for a rivalry?

Is it a tee shirt, is it uh - some guy, that Kamara (Ed. Meyer likely meant Michigan running back Karan Higdon (BKB Ed. 11W probably meant Karen Higdon), not Saints running back Alvin Kamara) that asshole that said they were going to win the game and said “I guarantee it” or that defensive end, really good player, Revenge Tour Almost Done so he’s going to group us with Wisconsin or Penn State or something like that?

How do you really show respect for a rivalry? And all due respect, maybe some up there don’t understand that. You work that [expletive] every day. Every day. You walk in that staff room - this is for the new coaches, you know who they recruit. You know what they’re doing every day. What I ask Mark Pantoni - who are they recruiting? Who are they going after? What is their practice schedule? What are they doing? Are we outworking them?

So I’ll say this again. How do you respect a rivalry? You work it every day. You don’t shoot your mouth off. If I ever hear, whatever’s going on, I hear a player take a shot verbally at them - that’s a problem. How do you show respect for a rivalry? You work it every [expletive] day. Not by tee shirts. Not by bullshit.

When I see people giggle about how we don’t wear blue in here - I don’t laugh about that. We don’t have blue pens in here. That’s not funny. This is Nike vs. Adidas, this is Coke vs. Pepsi, this is Ohio State vs the Team Up North. This is our livelihood.

So if you're new to the program - welcome to the program. Understand where you’re at. This is not a game. This is not silly. This is a way of life. There’s a bunch of former players in the back [of the room] that lived it. As you move up, you live it. This is who you are.

You never lose to those pricks. Ever. Ever. And you work it every day. And I don’t give a shit if you’re from California or Texas or whatever, as soon as you say you’re a Buckeye this is part of your life for the rest of your life - and you don’t lose to those pricks. You beat them every day. Every day.

This will always be a player’s program. What you guys did in that game, to put a beating on that team like they’ve never had a beating before in the history of that program - very good program, by the way - you notice how we talk about them, right? Is that a good program up there? Great program. Good players up there? Great players. Great coaches? Great coaches.

That’s the way you respect a rivalry. Then you outwork them and then you kick that ass like it’s never been kicked before. And that’s what you did.

What a desperate fan base they are up there. Think of the position they are in right now. Without question, they have been OWNED by the Buckeyes for an entire GENERATION. AND NOW.... in a (let's be honest) REBUILDING YEAR for the Buckeyes.... with The Game at THEIR PLACE and a 10-1 record with a #5 National ranking..... if they can't beat us this year....WHEN will they EVER beat us? I get the feeling that their fanbase and scUM aligned talking heads are desperate and trying to more or less, WISH and WILL a victory into existence because THEY KNOW they ain't getting one next year at the Shoe and Harbaugh is running out of time. Sucks to be them!

Could give a shit less about anything other than winning in 2 days. I'll say this...

There's this massive push oddly that this game will be close and that Michigan has substantial odds to win outright even.

If we do win this year it will be even better to watch the meltdown because of the nonsense coming from basically everywhere outside of Ohio.

I can't describe how amazing it'd be if we came out and put up 35 by half time.

Just for all the people on the ledge this week and the Valenti fans that might have heard is ridiculousness earlier.

Wagering isnt the be all end all with regards to outcome but there is a hell of a lot of people that pay very close attention to these things and right now it's telling me that it would take an act of God miracle for ttun to win on Saturday.

The difference between % of beta and % of money tells me that the big bets of the people that really watch this shit are on the good guys. Still the line only moved about 1 pt.

Those of y'all with as much gray hairs on my head will recollect the century before our current one. tOSU was usually the favorite in the GAME, yet this rivalry throws all of the statistics, records out of the windows, and Xichigan upset us more than we did them. Call it bad coaching, players making better plays, I really don't know, but tOSU lost to the Wolverweenies more than we beat them. To me, this is another 0-0 game, and anyone can win. Tackling, turnovers, making plays is all what this game is about. Yeah, Xichigan has a chip on their shoulder, given they're one for this century. And they seem to be playing better than they have under Harbaugh this year. The touts in Vegas have them as a single digit dog for a reason - they're doing well this year. Anyone with the attitude that if MSU > tun, and tOSU much > than MSU, thereby tOSU >>> tun is mistaken. It'll be a dogfight, (and I'll take the >2 on scuffles), but believe that tOSU will win by double digits. Hopefully the OL keeps CJ's jersey clean, and he stays upright. Go Bucks!

And the fact that they've removed all the crazy teaser lines where you could take Ohio State -20 or -21 tells me that not only was there a ton of money flowing to those bets (and nowhere near an equal amount flowing to the opposite of tsun minus four or five) but that Vegas did not consider those to be sucker bets and didn't want to take a bath. I managed to get -17.5 (21.5 was available just a few hours earlier), and I wouldn't be surprised if that's gone today.

It actually says the opposite. When Vegas keeps a line where the bets are out of balance they are placing a bet themselves.
