I think that many of our foes (and a lot of our fans) are really OVER estimating the effect that this past off season's drama will have on THIS team.

I'm not saying that there still won't be sanctions and I'm not saying that Ohio State won't feel the effects of this off season down the road.

But this is a pretty talented fucking team with a chip on its shoulder. It's also a team that WANTS Fickell to get the job so they are going to be running through walls for him.

UM and OSU as a pick em is like stealing.

The way I read it his heart burn was over the way Hoke went about it, not blaming him for taking the job.

No one in their right mind would expect Hoke to say no to tsun but there is nothing to stop him from departing from SDSU and, more importantly, leaving his team the right way....with some class and some taste.

Now of course if you are the type to grow up in Ohio rooting for scUM just to be a dick, there is something stopping you from leaving the right way and its a basic character flaw.

I would have to respectfully disagree with you there. If an individual has no class and taste, that might possibly prevent him from acting with class and taste.

Now on the basic character flaw, I will concede that point to you.

did half the osu squad quit that I didn't know about? Tress may be gone, but you guys still have a lot more talent then UM does. That alone should decide the outcome this season. Unfortunately, we're still another year or two away in my IMO.......
