As the old coach's adage goes, The best thing about freshman is they become sophomores.

It's been a while since I've seen an OSU defense so dinged up. By the end of the game it seemed like there were as many 3s as there were 1s and 2s on the field.

I don't think you'll find an OSU fan who gives one lick about that joke of an award. Jim Tressel never won it. Not even once. 6 Big Ten championships in a row and he never won coach of the year. It's worthless.

And Hoke has done a heckuva job, so I couldn't really argue with it.

I read somewhere that all radio communication with his staff is transmitted through a metal plate* in his head.


*A known side-effect of metal plates in heads: excessive weight gain.
