Thank you DJ Durkin for playing with six in the box all fucking game. Occasionally seven, rarely walking down an eighth, but six?

I'll take that in The Game every fucking day.

I have no idea what their defensive game plan was. Were they afraid Barrett was going to go off for 400 yards passing like he did everyone else this season?

OK, since the Game is over for this year, let's look to next year's blowout win at the Shoe. four fifths of meatchicken's OL is out of eligibility (too bad for tOSU), but maybe the backups play better. Their turncoat QB (Rudock) is finally out of eligibility, and there was an unknown name at QB when Bosa took Jake down, so Shane Morris may not be a factor. Three fourths of the DL go away, leaving only one, plus two (?) of the four DBs ride off into the sunset. The main strength of SUN runs out of eligibility, so not sure what or why 'they' are projecting SUN to be the front runner. MSU and tOSU bring back more talent next year. (tOSU could also be gang busters if the OL fills its holes and several juniors stick around for their senior season. Our LBs will all be juniors (Booker taking over for Perry- if Darron stays), and return all the DBs ( I know, Bell is a gonner), but Erick Smith will fill in nicely. DL won't be as bad as anticipated, no one will be a Bosa :(, but if Hill can take over for Adolphus, the DL should still be stout.

JT is unquestioned QB, and RB will be certainly weaker w/o Zeke, but serviceable. WR will lose Thomas, but gain back two or three injured WRs that could be better than decent. I'll go on record saying that Hausman will start, or get more minutes than Baugh. Punter (?), should be back (I hope)....All in all, there are many pieces back. Holes to be sure, but that's why tOSU pays their coaches like princes, to coach them up. Top ten pre-season, top four post season. Go Bucks.

Baugh was the most improved player on Offense. Don't count him out. Brown, Marshall, Smith, Samuel and Wilson should do just fine as our receivers.
