Game Thread THE GAME: Ohio State 14, TSUN 3 (final)

Don't strain yourself feeling sorry for those motherfuckers. Remember '95 and '96 and their smug ass arrogance all through the Cooper years anytime you catch yourself in a moment of weakness.

They would be talking insane shit right now had they won that game. They are only just now halfway to repaying the Cooper debt they owe us. That went on for 13 years, this has only been 7.

6 years from now I MIGHT start to feel the least bit sorry for those arrogant fucks. Till then I enjoy sights like their fans literally in tears at the end of The Game and look foreward to the screen shots making it onto the Internet.

tru dat. thanks for the reminders, for alas, i too am a coop-era survivor...

still... all they need over the MGoBlow board right now is Les Nessman to be calling the WKRP thanksgiving turkey drop massacre... OH THE HUMANITY!!!

[/indent]Backs in my ass! Kansas is the only team out there without a loss and they haven't played much of a schedule. OSU is just as deserving as any of the six teams in front of them. It's m0ore of that lose early and you can recover, lose late and you're fucked ment6ality.

I knew that someone would react that way when the media said it (and they will) but didn't know someone would pick up on it so quickly...

Yes, I said IF we BACK in to the title game.

I agree with you that we are as deserving as anyone. Anyone who actually pays attention to the stats that I post knows that I feel that way.

But we didn't take care of our business. I posted that we "backed in" with specific intent.

We might have a good argument, but we had a chance to end any arguments and we didn't get it done.

That having been said: I'm ecstatic with a 3rd straigt big 10 championship, 2nd straight outright and a trip to the Rose Bowl if that's where we're headed.

God Bless Tress!

Haven't seen this mentioned in this thread, but today's win makes this only our third 4-game win streak against Michigan ever ('34-'37, '60-'63). We've never had a 5-game win streak against them...yet.

Well, anyone think those moehunchers actually have a chance next year?

I have to say, I was very impressed with the scUM punter today. I can't believe they didn't name him the scUM player-of-the-game. Anyway, funny that he was the only player on that maize and blue colored team that I noticed as playing well. Gotta hand it to Lllllloyd...he really knows how to fire up his punter!

True this is a screwy mentality about when you lose having to do with getting in...Plus the fact that LSU is just the fricking luckiest team I have seen this year....I can't believe the calls that have gone their way even under review...

All too well - every year I bet with one TSUN alum on the outcome. Lost

too many times to count (13).

He stopped betting the second JT hit campus and gave the speech.

The speech that defined his attention to this game.

The first speech he ever gave in his capacity as the incoming HC for Football at OSU.

The speech that put chills down the backbone of anyone in the Football Program in AA, MI.

The speech that gives me chills to this day.

Michigan was on his mind then too.

You mean Zoltan? I think that might have been the name of a cartoon I used to watch as a kid back in the early 80s.
