Game Thread THE GAME: Ohio State 14, TSUN 3 (final)

I just bought tickets to this game....oh sorry I mean THE GAME.....and I was wondering how the scUM fans treated us Bucks fans. No doubt I'm still wearing my scarlet and gray but I was just curious on the fan treatment?

I was at a game last year at the Big House against Miami (OH) whose colors are red and white. This burly young guy went walking down the steps in the stadium, surrounded by Michiganders, wearing his bright red Miami T-shirt (it was September) and the whole time he kept pointing to his red shirt and proclaiming to all around: It's not scarlet! It's not scarlet! Everyone laughed.

I don't think you will run into a problem. Michigan fans tend to be rather reserved (think snooty!) compared to Buckeye fans and the police will kick anyone out of the stadium who causes problems. Even tossing marshmallows is a bannable offense. And it's almost impossible to smuggle alcohol into the stadium.

So wear your scarlet and gray and scream at the top of your lungs! These Wolverines need a few lessons from the pros about how to let it all hang out.

Note: Over a two-time Heisman Trophy winner from tOSU (they do it once again... never could give it merit anyway considering the source).

:smash:

forget where they plave OSU players. Any poll that ranks Woodson(or damn near anyone else) a better football player than Jim Brown has zero credability.

Shit, I thought it was because they employed idiots...

BB, if I lived in the state of Michigan, that would be helpful.

Hell, I live in Ann Arbor and it's virtually impossible to get tickets for THE GAME unless you want to spend big bucks on ebay. I'm not a UM alum so I can't get season tickets and even the minor games are usually sold out. And the police have been really cracking down on ticket scalping outside of the stadium for a couple years now.

EDIT:

I'm not in the mood for dissenting opinions this week...

Fuck around this week and your ass will hit the road quickly.

Hopefully that gets through your skull on this first attempt.

Wow, drama! How exciting. I guess I hit close to home. I thought I'd pretty well established after a year or so that I'm not here to go "BUKEYZ R LOSRZ!!!!11!" all over the place, but I see there isn't much room for intelligent comments out of this corner either. So I guess I'll try to be nice and noncontroversial from here on out. So.....how bout that weather? Rainbows sure are pretty.

Hey does anyone know where The Ohio State fans park in Ann Arbor? I'm heading down and was just wondering where was a good place to tailgate and not get my car flipped over and set on fire? Grazie

Pioneer High School directly across from the Big House has a huge parking lot but expect to pay $25-$30 or more for a space (I see that the golf course nearby is now charging $40). You can always see OSU flags flying there when the Buckeyes come to town but you will be surrounded by Wolverines. Your car will be safe there at least. Make sure to get there early to avoid the usual massive traffic backups in that area. In fact, get to A2 early because the city experiences horrible traffic gridlock on every football Saturday.

Hey Hail, you're in Buckeye country here! But I never saw you as a troll so I hope you will be able to make more comments here, you ugly Wolverine! Don't get me wrong, some of my best friends are ugly Wolverines and I don't hold it against them. They just don't know any better as they try to relive the glory days (i.e. the Cooper era).

Speaking of weather, it's supposed to be sunny and 45o on Saturday up here. Great football weather! Of course, a forecast made 6 days ahead is not very reliable.
