Also... Not only did M*ch*g*n lose today, but their best performer was a convicted felon. Enjoy your bowl game, dickheads.

This is worth repeating. M*chigan Man, indeed. Congratulations, scUM fan--you've sold out, hiring this classless windbag to coach your team, all in the name of trying to win against OSU.

And you still lost.

Thanks...and I'm not surprised. There is pumping up a rivalry, and then there's acting like a third grader in a sandbox. We all now know which Hoke is. If we win there next year (or hell, even if we don't) I hope Meyer blows right past him and goes to shake Mattison's hand.
...I'm telling you guys, working in Ann Arbor, the average Michigan fan is deathly afraid of going to CBus for The Game, let alone be on the field or in a crowd of Buck fans. I personally know the U of M policeman who is right next to Hoke after the games, and while he's a nice guy, he sounds like a little kid telling ghost stories when he talks about "those crazy fans" in Columbus. His eyes get big and he shakes his head back and forth as if to make the ugly memories go away!
I am sure that someone with the scUM team made the "executive decision" to get the hell out of the stadium before Hoke got hurt. They really think it's dangerous down there. And every scUM fan has to mention OSU fans from 9 to 90 giving them the finger... hmmm.. strange how they all have the same story.
I guess they are the same kind of people who could never go to Mardi gras, or the Indy 500, or an Insane Clown Posse concert!! chicken[Mark May]s!!!
I had to laugh last week at work when a scUM grad told me the last time he was in Ohio Stadium for The Game, "two 70 year old ladies" were behind him and spit on him all during the game. Really?
It's all a coping mechanism by scUM fans, trying to justify their recent record against us by changing the subject to how scary crazy our fans are.

I can't wait to go to work tomorrow!

I know I am looking forward to work tomorrow. There was plenty of smack talk from scum fans. 364 day of rubbin' it in!!!

Ohio State fans are crazy. There was even a feature on South African television this week about the craziness of the Ohio State fans.

Crazy does not mean violent, although we do have our share of fans who will give opposing coaches and players the finger and scream obscenities at them. Actually, it is rather embarrassing Ohio State fans when people behave like that. There really isn't any place for that kind of behavior in college sports.

That said, with the exception of the mugging delivered by Ohio State defensive players during the game, I can't remember one of their players or coaches ever being assaulted or intimidated.

Hoke ran off the field for one reason: like Luke Skywalker, he didn't want to meet his Daddy.

What has to be troubling for the best of the big ten is that we are at the beginning of our up slope trajectory and the rest of the big ten is either at a stand still or on a downward trajectory. If they didn't beat us this year geez I'm just not sure if anyone can manage to do so in the next few years.

I mean scUM is recruiting well by the recruiting websites standards but I personally see right through it. Scum is missing game breakers and difference makers IMO. They have a bunch of 4-5 star talent that don't warrant their grade, many of which we never offered.

Nebraska should be plenty competitive for the next year or so with Martinez (we won't play them until the Championship game) but recruiting great talent year in and year out will be difficult.

MSU- lose bell, and they'll lose 2-3 guys on defense early this year (once again we don't play them). Not a great recruiting program.

NW- will always play well against mediocre teams but will crumble against us.

Wisconsin- On a major down slope IMO. Lose Ball, won't have a QB again. Their defense should be solid but they just seem to get less and less talented every year.

PSU- Next year they'll start a string of seasons were they are just awful. No McMoxie, they lose any talent they had on defense. They're going to suck.

Illinois- So far very underwhelmed with what the coaches have put on the field. It doesn't seem like recruiting is going well either. If it was ever possible they're going to be just as bad for the near future.

Indiana/Minnesota/Iowa/Purdue- All will stay the same

Even the new additions Maryland/Rutgers- At best they have the potential to be as good as NW.

Bottom line I think we're going to see a stretch of years here were we ultimately are going to be so dominant that it may make the Tressel years look like an under performance. Not because we're so good (We are going to be very talented though) but because no one else is making the types of strides that we are. The big ten from a national competitor stand point is on the verge of being a one trick pony when it comes to programs being able to compete nationally.

I also think Urban will be able to stay healthy unlike his last reign in Florida because we just don't face the teams with the types of talent not only from a player stand point but from a coaching standpoint as well. He can get away with not having a perfect gameplan in the big ten right now where as most of the programs in the SEC had really good coaching staffs. Because of that it made him work tirelessly and endlessly to try and make sure his teams had every angle covered.

Looking at 2013's season schedule I mean seriously where is there a loss? A offense that returns almost everyone, and a defense that loses some key players but will undestand the system better too. Where is there a loss?

Is it too early to start a 2013 season thread? I haven't followed ttun's recruiting closely, but even with Hoke's questionable coaching you have to think their defense will improve and Gardner looks like he can be a viable qb. But you're right that they have no WR's or RB's for him to get the ball to right now.

Wisconsin looked like a much improved team w/ Stave playing qb before he got hurt. I think he's only a sophomore so he'll be back next year and James White is a solid runner behind Ball. I think they'll be a good team, on par with what Butthead has put on the field the last few years.

Other than those two teams the schedule is very weak. Unfortunately that will hurt tOSU in the polls if it comes down to that.

They will likely lose their only good OL, Lewan, to the draft and will have to replace 3 other spots, all primarily with redshirt or true freshmen.
