Too soon old, too late smart
Took my wife to two games at the 'Shoe, and first one she thought was great. Then took her to OSU-Michigan, and she just looked around the stadium, listened, and said "now I understand". That was 25 years ago, so when I monopolize TV or sign up for B10 channel on Saturdays, she doesn't say anything, and even comes in to watch sometimes.
That was twenty-five years ago, and it's the same today. Her Dad was buried in his Sooner's turtleneck and red bib overalls, so she knows from that angle as well.
The stadium seemed to pulse with noise, and appeared to float right to left (or was it left to right?) with the fans linking arms and swaying....only been to 15 or so (my father wouldn't go North), so am happy that you young'uns get to experience it with your kids as well. It's an experience with my Dad that I remember fondly, win or lose....(we suffered through ol' 2-10-1), but enjoyed all of Woody and Earl.
:gobucks3::gobucks4: Probably my imagination (or selective memory), but it seems to me that the band even plays crisper and when they march, the knees come up higher......
