As a Michigan fan, I thought JT got the first down. There were other non calls that really bothered me, but that wasn't one of them. I thought it was funny that neither team was called for a holding call. I don't think I have ever seen a game where no holding calls were called and I have watched a lot of football.

Yeah....I'll listen to complaints about the PI calls/non-calls and just shrug and mention how much the B1G refs suck and how much they have sucked all season. Nothing new there, but the PI's were not evenly called, in my IMO. I'm not sure the ball on the Hill call was catchable, but that is so hard to call in real time, so I'll give that a pass. The non-calls on OSU were pretty bad. I would have been losing my mind on either of those if it had been an OSU receiver.

Everything else seemed about equal to me. Both teams held a bunch and neither got called and I can live with that. UM got tagged for the facemask, OSU for the hands to the face. The offsides on UM was legit, even if Harbaugh didn't like it.

And to be frank, I'm a little worried. There has been something off with JT's arm all season. On top of that, the OL was getting roasted most of the game. We lose the same way that MSU did, if we play Alabama in the playoffs the way we played on offense today.

You can never count out Urban, but I really can't imagine a winning playoff scenario in which JT cannot complete a pass over 10 yards.

I agree. I am very concerned about JTs throwing game. Yes, this was a great D, but that's no excuse for scoring our first offensive TD in OT.

I've heard some people suggest this and I'm coming around to this idea....

Put Burrows in for a couple reps. I know a lot of the issues are with the inexperience of the receivers. However, I am thinking more and more if we're looking at throwing deep balls, Burrows is the better option. Also, possibly switching to Burrows in a series could add a dynamic element teams like Bama may not be ready for. Just a thought.

When scUM lost at Iowa my first thought was this is the result of their playing all those home games and not being tested enough. They are a product of their home schedule.
And I wondered about what their "leadership' was like. If they were tough enough to win a hard fought, close game away from Ann Arbor

I'll post a lot here shortly but just made it back to my room.

Scored great seats, Samuel's game winner was about 5 rows in front of us.

Unfuckingbelieveable day!!

Best part was singing "we don't give a damn" going up the tunnel to exit the stadium after being down on the field.

Those few rare moments in life when you are completely content.

Well, they're absolutely justified. Don't you remember? We voted it was a waste of our investment in the ref's fund to pay them for the Sparty game this week, and diverted the payment to The Game instead.

They are saying the pics showing barrett getting the first down are photoshopped, and it didn't happen.
