No doubt about it we need to run the ball, run the ball, and then run the ball some more. Pedo worked them over with the same stuff we do and we run the ball x10 better then them.
I want to see us lock these guys down when they have the ball though. They literally cannot throw the ball so there is no reason to not absolutely shut down their running game. The past few years we've allowed their QB's to look much better then they actually were with Devin Gardner putting up a few big games and then last year Speight looked better then he'd played all year too.
I want to see this defense force a 9-21 for 110 yards effort since that's what many other teams have done to them.
Stack the box, man up, and come after them.

Michigan always seems to save some cool misdirection plays for this game. The year Gardner looked so great, it was like watching Baker Mayfield dissect us. It wasn't that Gardner was just picking us apart....they had so much misdirection going on, and then he'd just execute the play. Mayfield was the same thing.....it's not like he was sitting in the pocket making progressions....they were isolated routes around a lot of misdirection to confuse the defense.
Michigan will implement some creative stuff no doubt....you just hope to get them out of their gameplan early and rely more on O'Korn than they'd like.
We should win, but I expect it to be close as usual...

Well, this is a fan base that is apoplectic that the refs don't bring in the chains to measure when the line to gain was literally dyed into the turf nine years ago.
And if you even attempt to explain to them that you don't need a 10 yard chain to measure the difference between the 25 and 15 yard lines, they look at you like you've got nine heads.
