Ahh, but then Big Sweetie would miss your "alone" time together. :)

You know, this was the first big game in ages where there wasn't some kind of Clarett off-the-field headline involved in the buildup. Has that bullshit FINALLY been put to bed? Hell, when I saw yesterday that Schembechler had passed away, I half expected hear next that he'd been capped by Clarett after "gettin his Goose on".

I just heard Lloyd Carr talking. It actually surprised me in that he wasn't blaming the loss on anything, except themselves.

When asked if the death of Bo had anything to do with the loss, as in that it "drained" the team morale, he said no.......That it was apart of the weekend, but it didn't have anything to do with the loss. That they got beat by a better team.

Aside from a couple of blow ups in the second half Lloyd looked much calmer than I've seen him against The Buckeyes.

He actually made some ballsy calls (which he is going to get blasted for now) and didn't become overly predictable & conservative.

Despite the loss this is by far the best played game by TTUN against The Buckeyes during Tressell's reign and like it or not Lloyd should get credit for a great deal of that.

As far as the media is concerned Troy Smith is the current face of the Buckeyes.

It's a nice change. :)

Disappointing about Hart's comments, though I'm sure much of it is said out of the frustration generated by knowing they left chances to win on the field. It was him that said the "We don't lose 3 games at Michigan"...right as they were losing 3 games in a month last year. Normally people grow up as they get older and more mature...apparently not him, which is a shame, because there is a lot to like about his passion for the game...it's just too bad he is a Weis-like poor loser.

V-oyd not whining about the refs or the field is a pleasant surprise, so kudos to him for that...and please stick around so you can be X-oyd.

(Move this to the Troy Smith if necessary)

In the interview on sportscenter after the game the college gameday crew interviewed Troy everything he said was extremely selfless. He mentioned his teammates in every questions giving them the credit they deserve. He even complemented Michigan without hesitation. What a great guy!

Troy is all class. Tressel preaches to his players that they are to represent the university with class and to respect their opponents. I love how this team has responded to that. You won't see them trash talking in the media like the Cooper years. I even saw a few of our players patting scUM players on the back after plays today.

In the most sensational game in the history of The Rivalry the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Michigan Wolverines by a score 42-39. It was the first time in history that the Wolverines were within 100 points of the Bucks at the final gun.

The most emotional moment actually happened before the game with a moment of silence for the late Bo Schembechler.

The International Wolverine Conspiracy did its best to tilt the game in favor of The Nancy Boys of Michigan with the referees making phantom calls against the Bucks and turning a blind eye to Michigan penalties including an attemped decapitation of Tedd Ginn during a kick return.

Aircraft from The Conspiracy tried to spray the crowd with a new mind control drug (Hennepenny 238) to dupe them into thinking they were seeing a Wolverine win but were kept at bay by brave members of The Ohio National Guard who scrambled out of Worthington International Airport. Ground troops occupied broadcast trailers outside The Horseshoe to keep Conspiracy men from highjacking the television signal to the nation. Brent Musburger, the noted Buckeye hater and shill for The Conspiracy, was forced to announce the game as it truly happened when security forces seized the broadcast booth.

The win sends the Bucks to the national championship. The loss will send the Wolverines to the Rose Bowl. The captured Conspiracy men have been sent to a detention center set up by the band at an undisclosed location somewhere outside of Sandusky.
