Game Thread THE GAME: #1 Ohio State 42, #2 Michigan 39 (11/18/06)

Whew, so far we are like a polished machine on offense. we are beating the snot out of them. In the second half we should beat them like tied up goats. I think I saw amos hutting down MM when he was in. I am wound up so much. I think Hall was the game plan in the first half. Just to make tsun aware. The talking heads are conceeding the game to us IF mich doesnt get pressure. Heck I agree

OK Buckeyes one more half like that one
O-H

Obviously I thought that PI penalty was BS. Did anybody notice how physical Ohio State got on the scUM's receivers after that first drive? I even saw Gohlstin out there hitting the receiver within the 5 yards. Kind of reminds me of the New England Patriots game plan against the Rams in the Super Bowl.

I have to disagree with you. I was concerned that UM would come out with a creative game plan like they did in 2003. Well, it worked for one drive, then Henne became Henne.

Mike Hart up the middle will work against most teams, but not Ohio State.
I don't really see much creativity, either, except maybe the first drive. Throwing deep on 3rd and 2 isn't creativity, it's dumb, whether or not it results in a pass interference.

Henne's a good enough QB in the pocket, but obviously he may as well be an oak tree with a good arm for all the scrambling he can do. Michigan needs to use routes that don't require 8 seconds of protection.
