I think Florida is going to be a huge player. Even if it is far away, they are still going to be a huge player. I don't really think Penn state is a huge player. USC could be a little trouble. They are getting OJ Mayo this year, so he will probably put USC on the map for basketball, so they should have a good season in both sports this year. I kinda think we have to have a great football season with an open offense for him to come here.

Pryor thought north carolina was to hot.If he thinks north carolina is to hot then hes gonna hate florida.i live here.same thing in california to.as dumb as that sound but its true

I'm sure Urban can convince him that the nice winters are worth the hard summers.. and if he really feels like he has the best chance to succeed at Florida, I doubt the weather will affect his decision too much.

The southern California climate is nothing like Florida's or N. Carolina's. The American southeast can get very hot and very muggy. Southern Cal, in contrast, generally oscillates between 75 and 85, and is virtually always dry as a bone.

Knocking Northern Cal weather?

Oneshot, I take umbrage at the thought that So Cal weather is the best, and better than Northern Cal. True, So Cal has a sameness in weather, constant and all, but tell the rest of the story! The smog there is so thick and orange that it reflects light at night. No thanks.

On the other hand, in Northern California, we have an increase in temperatures above So Cal, and a lower nighttime temperature. (Better sleeping weather). If you go to the mountains, you can have the same weather, and our beaches are also hot, with the cooler nights. (I have lived in So Cal, and I tell the headhunters to think 'pine trees, not palm trees') You can grow tomatoes better in Northern Cal than So Cal also!

Personal preference, and you too can join the 10,000,000 in the LA basin.

Ive lived in Berkeley for a while now, I used to live in LA - NO COMPARISON.

Three words: Rain And Fog.

It's cold and muggy all the time in months not beginning in Ju.

And hot beaches? HAH. Have you been to Manhattan Beach? NorCal 'beaches' pale.
