There's been a lot of complaining about refs on some M*ch*gan boards. But its very generic. I didn't get to see much of the game, but I hear it was equally bad reffing. But winners don't complain as much as losers do. Are there any specific examples anyone has found?

I didn't see all of the game, between getting some stuff done around the house and getting ready to go to the Buckeye game. The targeting call on Bolden was heinous. I can't believe it was held up after replay.

The other bad calls I saw went against Michigan State. The refs were doing their damnedest to give Michigan a touchdown on one drive. Called a TD on first down, overturned on replay. Called a TD on second down, overturned on replay. Called a TD on 3rd down, even though the back was stopped short, they held off blowing the play dead for about 2 1/2 minutes to let Michigan push the guy into the endzone.

They're up to that challenge, evidently--on the front page of mgoblog right now, there is a rather in-depth analysis of 21 instances in which they consider whether the refs screwed them. Predictably, there is no mention of the 35-second TD from 1 yard out, or the many other instances in which MSU was screwed by the refs.

Actually, Screamin' A and Jamele are two black voices that are equally ready to slam a black athlete or politician as a white one. Both noisy and annoying, but unusually even-handed when it comes to criticism, racially speaking.

Don't ever suggest giving The Bastard more radio time. Smith and Jamele may be annoying; Lebatard is the spawn of the devil.

I want to know who the hell signed off giving his father a spot on one of the shows. I happened to stumble upon whatever they call that show, and thought to myself "what the hell is this shit?"
