The sad part is nothing like this would surprise me. Given the lack of transparency, the cryptic or non-answer answers to softball questions and the amount of noise we're seeing from basically everyone below the AD level makes me think no one was actually consulted prior to this decision being made public. BTW if they didn't talk with the coaches and players that directly contradicts what they have put out.
