The 2020 College Football Season

https://www.ajc.com/sports/college/...ootball-game-schedule/Dm9FjKFPrORz1ch2IMjr4K/

I'm not sure how this would work since the ACC has already moved to a conference only schedule...
But apparently we're keeping the GA Tech game is on as scheduled?

If that happens, Georgia is among the SEC schools lobbying to keep its traditional, in-state rivalry intact this year. It’s a scenario the Yellow Jackets are on board with as well.

“I’ve talked to (Tech athletic director) Todd (Stansbury), and he definitely wants to play it,” Georgia AD Greg McGarity said Monday night as he drove back to Athens from Birmingham. “So does FSU and Florida, Clemson and South Carolina and Kentucky and Louisville. The importance of those intrastate rival games was brought up, and you’re talking about travel within the state. So proximity was a key part of that as well.”

I could see the SEC and ACC wanting to make an exception for those 4 games; but, how will they justify it when they get all the complaints from the other conference schools that don't get the extra game?

This doesn't answer your question, but the possible explanation is all these games take place during the Saturday of Thanksgiving break.
I'm assuming it's a safer environment when the rest of the student body isn't around...

OHIO STATE AT WISCONSIN

No disrespect to Penn State, but ESPN's Football Power Index projects these two as the Big Ten's best teams this season — or at least the pair with the most favorable shot at getting to the Playoff. The Buckeyes and Badgers played a competitive game in Indianapolis last fall, one of the first times all year that Ryan Day's team was tested. Being on opposite sides of the Big Ten, these two nationally-ranked programs have only matched up three times in the regular season since 2013. The other three matchups during that stretch has come in the league title game.

Just sayin': (Yeah I know Ohio State already has 5 home B1G games); however, I'd still rather see Wisconsin at Ohio State.
