Game Thread That Team Up North @ Ohio State - 11/24/18, The '62' Game, Revenge Revoked

I have been to my fair share of games, Fiesta Bowl, NC semi, Sugar Bowl, tons of game at The Shoe.

Honestly this was the most electric atmosphere I have ever seen. I mean my lord... the intensity was outrageous. Many ear shattering moments, but I have never seen or heard more crazy loud noise than when we blocked that punt. I mean I swear 70 year old men were jumping up and down. Then to top it off, being able to celebrate the whole 4th quarter, watching scUM fans leave with a whole quarter to go, rushing the field etc.

Easily the most memorable in person experience for me at an OSU game.

Anyone else think a moment was more loud and crazy than that blocked punt TD as far as pandemonium?

Maybe 2002 when Gamble ran that INT back vs PSU but who knows.

100% agree on everything you said about the atmosphere. That's what I was talking about all week. Buckeye nation showed up and showed what they are all about.

It was impressive.

Gus Johnson sounded like was jumping up and down.

Ah yeah, I wasn't at that one, but I don't doubt that's up there.

Honestly, it's about time. I mean I don't expect all the fans to lose their minds and scream and jump around all game, but in big games especially, too often I see fans who sit on their hands and barely make a peep. Granted, it's their ticket their right, but yesterday really shows how huge of a advantage we can have at home when everyone is electric and fired up. So glad BuckeyeNation brought it yesterday. Exactly what these boys needed after the up and down (lol funny to say for 11-1 team) year. Especailly with all the BS we dealt with all summer up to it.

If you can hear, it wasn't as loud as the Gamble INT. I couldn't hear for a full day after that game.

Yeah, that's definitely up there too. I mean we had to share that stadium with Thug U fans, or else I am sure it would have been even more loud/chaotic. But as far as a play goes that is tough to ever beat.

My recollection was that we won over all the neutral fans in that game as well, from being the 2 TD underdogs going up against the evil empire, to our pregame TBDBITL routine that those folks had never seen before. That crowd was easily 90%+ for OSU.

But I also agree with you on the blocked punt for a TD yesterday. That was loud. It was a party atmosphere. And it never gets old.

Fuck this game. I felt it all week but was in denial. We will never beat Ohio State again. Ever.

Totally disagree. In the next 3-4 years we will beat OSU in a totally meaningless end to a craptastic 7-5 or 8-4 season with zero substantive meaning on the line.

Then theyll hammer us for another 6-9 years straight again.

Every player on OSU s roster was offered by Bama and that’s the difference. They came together for one game. If I’m a buckeye fan I’m pissed at what could have been. Us on the other hand had players that got their asses kicked and were flopping around like fish out of water.

Maybe Holy Buckeye, Will Allen's game ending pick in 2002, 46 Tulsa, or 85 yards through the heart of the south?
