After Indiana scored on its first seven possessions of the second half to turn a 28-25 deficit to a 39-34 lead:
"We just kept telling our guys poise, poise, just keep your poise, and we made some big buckets. . . . I thought guys played through it pretty well."
On what the Buckeyes learned from their 81-68 loss to Indiana earlier this season:
"We didn’t think we played real well and we felt they had a lot to do with it. We talked about creating more havoc defensively and challenging shots better, and just looking at the easy baskets we gave them in game one. They got rebounds, putbacks, just crazy baskets."
On Ohio State's 14-2 advantage in fast-break points:
"That was probably the difference. They’re so good in transition. We told them, 'We want eight guys back in transition to try to slow them down.'
"We were much more aware of where guys were. In game one, there was a possession where Aaron (Craft) was guarding (Cody) Zeller and Evan (Ravenel) ran down and guarded him, too, and Hulls shot a three. It was like, 'Really?' Those are the type of things we attempted not to do tonight."
On whether being physical with Indiana is turning out to be the secret to beating it:
"I don’t know. I didn’t think we were overly physical tonight. That’s not our makeup, I don’t think.
"You’ve just got to guard them. They’re a great basketball team, and when you make mistakes, they kill you. I think for us, the biggest thing was don’t make defensive assignment mistakes."
