Same, I don't like talking on the phone. I send about 1,000 a month and receive about the same. Now if I had a text plan other than unlimited in with Verizon, my sending would be at least 2,000 sent.

These things should be free considering it costs telecoms literally nothing to transmit. The NY Times had a good article on this last month. But, I suppose as long as a) people here are willing to pay the cost and b) there remains to be very little real competition amongst telco's in the US, nothing will change.

As for actual texting... one. I sent "GO BUCKS!" to the guy who introduced me to the Buckeyes at kickoff of the first game this season. Emails I check on the phone and usually answer from home.
