There is definitely a lot to like with this team. Even when TxSo made their run, it didn't feel like it was OSU giving it away as much as the opponent just making shots.

19:10 assist to turnover ratio works for me. Good FT shooting and solid rebounding.

Potter was very good, although I really would like to see him stronger around the basket. Jallow was excellent, Tate and KBD were solid. Jackson played well....apart from the miserable shooting. But he wasn't taking bad shots and won't go 1-9 on open 3's most nights.

I have no idea what is going on with Williams. He should be the team's best shooter.....

Quality of play was not consistent, but level of effort was.

I missed that more than anything.

I was going to say the same thing. The overall talent on the roster might not be there yet, but after the lack of effort we saw the past 2 years from the recently departed, I think any true Buckeye basketball fan should at least be thrilled with the effort they are seeing on the court in the 1st 3 games.

They have a lot of inconsistent shooters on this team that I think will result in some good and some ugly looking games as we get into conference play. They can get hot but can just as easily go very cold, not having a go-to guy. KBD is the playmaker that should be and that the Bucks need to be a consistent threat of getting 20 every night. Jallow looked really good last night too. He is put together for just being 17 yrs old. Micah needs to be tougher around the rim and be able to finish down low, but his FT shooting looks good. Seems minor but the team was atrocious from the line last year and it cost them some games. It is nice to see that team % (.722) up although a small sample size.
