The DFBIA meltdown this year has been very different than past years. Most of the time, they have just lamented that they lack the talent to compete, some blame Lloyd for sending the program off on the path of perpetual mediocrity, some blame officiating and some blame the coaches. This year, the pitch and tone has been very different. It seems like 75% of the idiots are actually saying we pay our players. The word "bagman" peppers almost every post. They're trying to talk themselves into being this little island of integrity in a sea of filthy cheating football factories and "bagmen." They've really come unhinged. Jim Tressel knocked them off their high horse, Urban Meyer ground them into the dirt and now Ryan Day has fired the killshot right between their beady little eyes.

I like to think of it as Tressel built them a coffin and put them in it, Urban nailed it shut and lowered it in the earth, and Day gets to shovel on the dirt and pee on the gravesite.
