Former coach and administrator Darrell Royal has passed away at the age of 88. Mack Brown released a touching statement, and says the Longhorns will line up in the wishbone on the first play of this weekend's game to honor Royal.

Texas plays basketball ... that would be news to alot of people... even a few years ago when they were very highly ranked (close to #1) they could only get about 5k people to come watch the home game

Thats the thing... Mack hasn't checked out.. He's still very much checked in, more so than in years past. As we all know he's an expert bus driver.

Mack said this earlier this year about his QBs

"Right now, we are going to play to the strengths of the two-quarterback system," Brown said. "The negative about two is that it can get confusing from a leadership standpoint. It could get confusing with chemistry. The positive thing about having two is that if one is not playing well, the other one can come off the bench with experience. And if one gets hurt, you can put a guy in with experience immediately."

The man was so shaken by the NC game when Colt went out that he's convinced he needs to have 1a & 1b at every position.
