Yeah, when I lived in Austin, I listened to their sports talk radio personality(Rod Baber’s) constantly claim that UT was the DBU. I met him at a bar one time, had to talk him, and break it to him that UT wasn’t even in the top 5...

God same here... Dad and I drove up so excited while talking up a storm. Loudest I ever heard the shoe was when Hawk picked off Young (Braxtons last minute TD vs Wisconsin was nuts too).

The drive home was quiet. As you say, that game was ours to lose and that's exactly what we did.
