As i recall people were predicting by 2020 that Cheyenne to Abq would be straight cityscape... the timeline was a tad ambitious ... but it's happening.
Just wish Loveland etc. would finally allow them to expand highway to 3-4 lanes each way. 2 wasn't enough 15 years ago... it's like a clogged artery now.

There's only 1 loveland north of Denver where you lose all the highway lanes and they, along with the other cities in the area, have refused to expand highway in a delusion that it will keep them smaller.
