Can't find a new OC. Cumbie from TCU turned down $1M + with a 3 year deal (no word on the guarantees), now Some dude name Gilbert the OC from Tulsa turned down a 3 year deal. Charlie shoulda just taken the Miami job because he's fucked and going to be fired next year...

With the buyout, he's going to be making $20M for three years of coaching, probably will be right about $1MM/Win. Not even Magnificent Fat Bastard could pull that off.

Sources told me Texas didn't land TCU's Sonny Cumbie because administrators wouldn't tell him if Charlie Strong would be around after 2016

Charlie Strong was set to hire Tulsa's Sterlin Gilbert but the administration couldn't get the contract done. Strong's support is limited

Texas administrators said they supported Charlie Strong, but this is the second potential OC hire they have whiffed on this week

If Texas doesn't want Charlie Strong to succeed, they should just fire him and move on. No need to put on the charade
