I just read where USC(W) and tOSU do not participate with the company that tracks this stuff, so it cannot be said to be accurate.

I'm guessing that's two of the top 10 (quite possibly top 5), so that's a pretty shitty report.

Now the Longhorn Network ESPN wants to try yet again to broadcast high school sporting events - this time as highlights. As the school official was quoted as saying in the article, "What part of NO don't they understand?"

The official NCAA interpretation, published August 11, reads: "The academic and membership affairs staff determined it is not permissible for an institution- or conference-branded network to broadcast (audio or video) programming involving prospective student-athletes."

So didn't that settle it?

"It's not crystal clear," Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds said Friday.

Uhhh, I thought University of Texas was second behind OSU, and not by much (in school size). There doesn't seem to be much doubt that OSU alums are many, so much so that no one ever hears about the UT alums.

Ergo, does that mean that UT doesn't graduate as many people as OSU does? Or is the alternative that once they graduate from UT, they disavow their heritage and do not join the alumni association? Except on job applications in Texas, of course.

Many people are wondering.........
