See your point and honestly I don't care either way...Nobody is erasing history. Nobody is scrubbing the history books. A statue or song or base name isn't history. It's a celebration, and if it's a celebration of an evil, treasonous history to tear it down is not to erase that history. It's to recognize that it's a celebration of evil. The history will still be there to learn from after the celebration has rightly been removed.
