Game Thread Texas at tOSU, Sat. Aug. 30th, noon ET on FOX

My guess is Gameday will be on campus. This will the last game Lee Corso attends on stage at some point, as they'll send him off. I'm sure he'll complete the circle and don the Brutus headgear as his last swan song to match the first time.

Doesn't mean shit for the game, but should be a cool moment. Unless he doesn't, and then fuck him.
It's been confirmed it will be his last game on stage. Also think he rocks the Brutus to bring things full circle but I will definitely be tuning in for that one.

26 drafted, so far.
How many more who played in that game will get drafted in 2026 or 2027? Or, I guess, 2028?
It might end up like the '02 Natty where Miami and OSU had an insane amount of draft picks from both teams. I forget how many exactly, but JT brought it up and it seemed like almost the entire team on each side got drafted. There will be plenty more picks to come from the teams that played in the Cotton Bowl.

This is what Google had to say:
Of the 43 players who started in the game (OSU's Chris Gamble started on both offense and defense), 37 of them were eventually NFL draft picks (including 18 first-rounders, of which 12 were Hurricanes and 6 were Buckeyes).

That's 86% of the starters

Unfortunately has no literal choice or can fight the times. They signed a MASSIVE contract with the rest of the B1G, the AD knew what he was doing when it was signed. I hate it, but I get it... but I hate it
What I don’t get is you have a market setting game in OSU Texas so why not throw it at 730? This way they can do 3 games that day on Fox and really drive ratings all day. I forget who plays that day but I know 1 other big ten team has a decent game that day too.

If you're trying to play make believe and convince people the Big Noon game is a big deal, you don't then throw your best game on at night. You defeat the whole purpose of what you're trying to do.
